Jo Anne Metcalf

Jo Anne Metcalf was born on April 17, 1936 and was received into heaven on November 2, 2011. She is now rejoicing with her husband, Harold Metcalf, and her son, Troy. She leaves behind her children, Terri Moore, Tammie Metcalf, and Trent and Wanda Metcalf, her grandchildren, Samantha and Scott Pantermuehl, Amanda and Matt Dzwilefsky, Kevin and Lauren Metcalf, and Melissa and Mark Ostrander, and her great-grandchildren, Emmalin, Lillian and Alex Pantermuehl, and Blake Metcalf.

Jo Anne was always faithful to God and His church, serving most of her life as a Sunday School teacher. Jo Anne graduated with honors from the University of Houston earning a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Accounting. She loved to travel and often shared this love with her family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, November 11 at Brookside Funeral Home. Memorial Services will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 12 at Jersey Village Baptist Church. In lieu of usual remembrances a gift may be sent to JVBC “His House” building fund or your favorite charity.
