Jesse was bright, funny, and caring. I worked with him in the merchant marine. I always enjoyed my interaction with jesse and it’s saddening to hear of his passing. We miss you brother. Rest easy!

This was taken at the end of 7th grade, I think. Just having fun in the band hall at Wells Middle School. Jesse was a nice guy, very funny and just easy to talk to. He will be missed.

Jesse was one of my very best friends.. I was never as booksmart as he was and he would always share his wealth of knowledge with me.. Jesse was a dear friend since 9th grade. He was so smart... Jesse has so many dreams he wanted to accomplish.. Jesse was the best friend anyone could ask for... we would just sit and talk for hours, conspiracies, politics, he could talk to anyone! Until we meet again my friend.. I love you jess  jess.. rest in peace

My dear Jesse, 
You are the greatest person i ever meet.  Jesse is a loving man, son, uncle and a partner. I remember we share good experience in ship life, we have same itinerary and we dont know each other yet before. But God made a good way for us to know each other. I remember the day we express ourselves, your first "I love you". Every single day we talk, i always admire how smart you are and your lovely voice. And every means of communication, you always say "I love you". And ask me why you love me so much. I always say to you to be strong and brave no matter what.  I never leave you and i waited for you. 
It was really to hard to know that you are gone. I dont evenly say Goodbye and im really sorry. Knowing to your friends how much you love me and how worth i am in your life. I just wished it's only a dream. Yet, thank you for sharing your love. Thank you that i am part of your life. 
I promise to visit you and sing the song you always ask from me. 
I will remember you and our memories will remain in my heart. Forever, I love you so much Jesse.  I missed you. 

I would like to share my sympathy to Jesse's family.

We were on a ship together and he would always be so profound. I asked him one night what his favorite word was, “serendipitous” because of the meaning and he thought it wasnt achievable. He also like the sound of “-dipitous”. He gave me lists of movies to watch and each day would add at least one more. He was indulged in culture and language and was CONSTANTLY bumming cigs. He is one of the good ones. My heart hurts for his family.

Having watched Jesse grow up over the past decades  we are  bereft and saddened .
 It has always been lovely to see Jesse and we are left with  meaningful memories of his helpfulness; interesting conversations and deep thoughts; his encouraging words to our boys, and  always a great deal of humor. We were lucky to know him.
 You will be greatly missed by all who knew you dear Jesse,

The stars aligned a while so that our paths would cross. From the moment we met in person, we had each other. From the first time you told me you love me, it never felt otherwise. We may not be able to do the things we planned to, or go to the places we want to anymore, but you will always be in my heart whatever I do,  wherever I go. And the time we had may have been short, but I love you, and you loved me. And that's all that matters.

I will miss our conversations and different 
views on life and its beautiful places as you
travel through life.  We hold you close within

My fondest memories of my cousin Jesse was the times we would all gathered at our grandparents house as kids and later as grown-ups and reminisce about the good old times.  Our gatherings consisted of good eats, great conversations, contagious laugher, family inside jokes and mandatory pictures. Last time we all gathered at our grandparents house we sat with Jesse and talked with him about his future plans and how much he loved to travel and read. We would joke with him about his Spanish... but he would quickly respond with a bad word in Spanish and we all laugh with him. He had us over the moon with his rumor and great comeback. His hugs were very gentle. He was very caring and he made sure you had his immediate attention when conversing with him and so you felt a quick connection with him. Jesse was very loved!  We will miss 
him dearly. He will forever live in our hearts. Rest in peace my dear and beautiful cousin. Until we meet again.
