Jesse Diaz

Jesse Diaz, 72, of Houston, passed away on Monday, January 17 2022. He was born in Houston, Texas on February 14, 1949. Jesse graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. He was married to Mary Diaz for 25 years. Jesse worked as a supervisor for Bay Area Rehab. He was a member of the United States Marine Corp, and had a passion for golf. Jesse Diaz received a Purple Heart Metal in Vietnam. He was survived by daughters Liza Diaz and Michelle Cedillo, step-children Adrianna Hurst and Daniel Garica, grandchildren Damien Montgomery-Diaz, Blake, Gioarmani, Gianni and Giovanni Saurez, Illiana and Cecilia Garcia, and Marissa and Lucianna Hurst, and great grandson Lei Garza-Diaz. Along with brothers Lorenzo and Michael Diaz, Roy and Danny Vazquez and sisters Elva Diaz-Carrizale, Rebecca Diaz-Schnur, Regina Diaz-Bennett, and Linda Vasquez-Carillo.

A gathering for Jesse will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, followed by a memorial service from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
