Lieutenant Colonel Jess Rodney Lindsey, 80; born April 17, 1940 in Locust Bayou, AR, passed away peacefully in his Houston, TX home February 11, 2021. He celebrated a 27 year career in the Army. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mary Catherine and is survived by his 5 children; Dorinna Thom, Lance Lindsey, Tisha Lindsey, Lacy Zapata, Lonnie Lindsey, and 7 grandchildren. He was a devout Christian and loved sharing stories and teaching from the bible. He also had a passion for rock 'n roll music and loved playing music at parties. He was a handy man and always had several projects he was working on. Service will be at Forest Park Westheimer on Friday March 5 from 2p-4p.
