Jeffery Cleveland, 70 was called to rest with Christ on July 11, 2020 in Boca Raton, Florida. He was born August 18, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Myrtle Ross and Mack Cleveland. Jeffery lived his life as a devoted father and husband, who believed in always putting family first. Jeffery spent his younger years in Mississippi, with his 3 brothers, to whom he served as a loving role-model and friend. He started his career as a member of the Navy and soon after began his life-long thirst for knowledge by obtaining his associates degree in welding and gas control. As a successful career-minded individual he continued to build and expand upon his education and training, which led him to become an oil and gas manager for one of the most prestigious companies in Houston, TX. Jeffery worked for this company for many years until he retired at the age of 43. From here he expanded upon his natural ability of entrepreneurship and leadership by creating FBC Books with his wife, Mary Nelson Cleveland. His plan for their life was to build wealth and fortune for his family with his own hands, for generations; he was his own--a writer, publisher, developer and designer.
Jeffery loved music, working hard and supporting the ones he loved. He will always be remembered as a man with fire and soul in his spirit, who could always make you laugh. HE WAS A MAN OF FAITH IN GOD WHOM HE TRUSTED!
He leaves to memory his Beautiful wife-Mary Nelson Cleveland
3 daughters-Keenya, Lashawn and LaTonya; 3 sons-Jeffery Jamar, Kushmon and Royce, and 15 grand children, and 1 great grand daughter on the way. Those who knew him knew he was a FORCE to be reckoned with, because he wanted his family to maximize their success! He was a family man and loved his family dearly!
He also leaves to memory 3 brothers & wives: Craig & Mary Lott, Chuck & Juan Lott and Kevin & Jackie Lott. And a host of relatives and many, many friends!
