Jeanne C. Mealey passed away on January 21, 2015. She was born on March 24, 1926 in Troy, New York. She was married to George “Bud” Mealey until his untimely death at the age of 42 in 1966. She then raised her three young sons, Jay, Brian and Glenn on her own from the ages of 3, 6 and 10 years.
Jeanne had a long career in retailing and real estate, retiring at the age of 84.
She was the loving grandmother of Colleen Mealey Olson and Cameron, Patrick, Drew, Matthew, Andrew and Ryan Mealey. She took special joy in her daughters-in-law Carla, Patrice and Linda.
Jeanne lived by the motto, “Smile and the world smiles with you; cry and you’re all alone”. While our hearts are saddened by her passing, we know she is smiling with the Lord
