I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May the Lord give you the strength to carry on.

Not sure where to begin. I can't remember how I met Bo.
All I know is that his mom and him sometimes his sister too would stalk me when I was in elementary school. They made fun of my backpack as they drove by.
Ken, Bo's first car was a white chevett and Cindy yes he made us pay for gas and for his food. Girls rode for free. Out of all my friends Bo was the closest to my Dad. Went fishing with him mowed the yard for him and was there for me when my Dad passed.
Bo loved me like a brother and yes he would always cheer you up and make you laugh. That was Bo, he had a big heart.
He kept me out of trouble so many times and he was always there for me even if I had to bang on his window for 10minutes, I knew he would open the door.

It’s never easy learning that a childhood friend has passed away. Bo was always the life of the party. There was one thing you can count on….. If Bo was around…. you were going to laugh till your cheeks hurt! Reading some of these post from Cindy, Ken, and Steven had me strolling down memory lane and cracking up at some of the things Bo used to do to make us laugh. Like Cindy mentioned in her post, I know what “Bust a Zabba Doo” meant! So many good times growing up with Bo and the gang. One of my all-time favorite things that Bo used to do is when he would jump out of the car and do his impression of Prince when the song Kiss would come on (Trust me, you had to be there). Bo, you are not even here and I’m cracking up at you! The neighborhood gang has lots of great memories with you and I’m glad I had the opportunity to be a part of them growing up with you. You my friend…. will never be forgotten! My sincere condolences to the family.  

Growing up Javier was always there when I needed him, whether I needed him to bring me a cigarette, take me to pick up some fast food, or just hang out and talk about the ones that weren’t there.   I don’t know what Steven’s talking about because when it came to me and Allyson, Bo never asked us for gas money 😊   He was always trying to make us laugh and only the people that hung out  back then knows what it means when you asked Jav to bust a zabba doo…LOL!  He was a good friend back in the day and I’m sorry that we grew up and drifted apart.   My condolences to his family, may he rest in peace. 

Can't forget playing in the leaves in the  yard and stuffing them down your clothes to make you look big. Love you.

I remember growing up with Javier. It goes all the way back to cub scouts.Then  at Northline Elementary, Mrs Cavett's class and Mr Spalding. Sometime around then we all started hanging out at Horace's house. We were all part of the neighborhood, a group of kids who grew up and hung out from Elementary thru high school.We were more like a family. We argued, we played sports, we partied,but we did it together. Javier was the first person to get a car. I can still see him in his dads green Impala. I still miss those Fridays when we would get a 10 pound bag of leg quarters and a couple cases of beer and hang out and just talk junk.Even though all of us have got older and lost touch with each other, we will always be friends. Hopefully you and Horace and Glen can see each other in heaven. You will be missed Bo,I love you man.

Bo, you where one of my best childhood friends, we had our ups and downs but that is just normal. I can remember being mad at him because he always had a car but no gas. If you wanted to go you had to pay, no that I am a father I find myself telling my kids if you are driving make them pay for gas, funny how that works.. We listened and watched some great concerts and had some terrific times. We might have got in a little trouble(for Sure I did) Let me just say those who knew him back then they knew Rock-N- Roll Hoochie Koo, he had $1.00 AND 1/2  of a _____.. Always. He was always good for a laugh. Bro I love You ..RIP
