Jared Michael Luchak, of Cypress, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on October 28, 2022. Jared was 27 years old. Our family and his friends are devastated and shocked by this loss. Jared was born on October 27, 1995 in Katy, Texas to parents, John and Donna Luchak.
Jared is survived by his parents, John and Donna Luchak, his sister Kristan Bauer and her husband John Bauer and his two nieces Addison and Hadleigh. He is also survived by his best friend since early childhood, Bubba Farrar, numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins and his work family at Top Gun Range.
After Jared graduated from Cy-Woods High School, he enlisted in the Army as part of Company D, 1st Battalion 19th , 198th Infantry Brigade, in Fort Benning, Georgia After completing Basic and Airborne training he was stationed to Vincenza, Italy with the 173rd Airborne Division where he trained in several countries in Europe and received numerous decorations. After completing his service, he used his GI Bill to attend Sam Tech School of Automotive Machinists & Technology. After determining this wasn’t his calling, he had a couple of odd jobs until he landed at Top Gun Range where he met his second family. He loved the people he worked with and we know this brought him great joy in his life.
Jared loved Anime and loved collecting all things Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon, among others. He loved collecting comic books and their character figurines and loved any movie containing comic book characters. He found a love for drawing, reading and journal writing at an early age. Jared loved tattoos and got his first one at age 17 and ended up with an eclectic collection. He had a deep love for animals and nature. Jared was very into Muay Thai, a form of martial arts and going to the gym. He was passionate about gun collecting, knife collecting and all that these encompass.
Jared was a bigger than life character in real life and a true super hero to his family and friends.
Services are being held for Jared on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Brookside Funeral Home in Cypress, Texas at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks a memorial donation be made to StopSoldierSuicide.org on his behalf.
