In retirement, Janice and Frank enjoyed traveling around the world to far flung places, including China, Egypt and Israel. In addition to spending time with her family, Janice loved being at Los Encinos, the Talk family ranch near her mother’s ancestral home in Runge, Texas.
Janice is survived by her children, Sherry, Michael, Stephanie, and Patrick Smith; and three grandchildren, Scott and Kelly Egarian and Michael Gaspar Smith.
A funeral service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 19th of October, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis and Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where a reception is to follow in the adjacent pavilion.
Afterwards, Janice will be laid to rest next to her husband, Frank, during a private interment service at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
