Jane was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on the 21st of November 1923. She was married in San Diego, California to Charles McAdams while he was serving in the Navy during World War II. Together, they raised their two daughters, Linda and Nancy, in Southern California. Jane was a kindergarten teacher for 30 years at The Buckley School in Los Angeles, California. Jane and her husband, Charles, enjoyed their many years of retirement traveling the world and golfing while living at Sun Lakes in Banning, California. Following the passing of her husband, she moved to Houston, Texas in 2008 to be closer to her grandchildren, Courtney and Erinn.
Jane McAdams was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. McAdams, and sister, Rachel Evans, with husband, Woodrow Evans.
Jane is survived by her brother, Robert M. Featherstone Jr., her daughters, Linda Buday, with husband, Tom A. Buday and Nancy Ormand, with husband, Ronald D. Ormand, her granddaughters, Courtney O. Brooks, with husband, Austin M. Brooks, and Erinn K. Ormand, her nieces, Harriet Anderson, with husband, Richard Anderson, Carol McAdams and Paula McIntosh, with husband, Lou McIntosh
The family wishes to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Memorial Hermann Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospice, Family Tree In-Home Care, Village Family Practice and The Forum at Memorial Woods.
