Bud was born in Harrison, AK on January 10, 1934. He served over 20 years and retired from the U. S. Army Special Forces. He served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. His bravery earned the Army Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star. During his lifetime he loved to fish, hunt, golf, and race cars.
Bud is survived by his four daughters, Darlene Peitsch and her husband Steve, Donna Hartis, Jean Faris and her husband Gus, and Joan Stuehm and her husband Randy. He is also leaves behind his grandchildren Joey Hanhart, Bobby Hanhart, Joshua Hanhart, Jiimmy Wadsorth, Patrick Wadsworth, Lois Hartis, Timothy Hartis, Alli Faris, Gabrielle Stuehm, Christina Stuehm , Anna Stuehm along with great grandchildren, friends and neighbors.
