James Edward Pascoe, 61, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2022, at his home to be with his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his parents, Edward and Frances Pascoe, and siblings, Carl and wife Julie, Laura, Jennifer and husband Earl Labuga. James was a cherished son, brother, friend and adored uncle to his two nieces, Grace Labuga, and Amelie Pascoe.
A native Houstonian and proud long-time resident of the city’s East End, James began grade school at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School and graduated with the Class of 1979 from J. Frank Dobie High School. He attended San Jacinto College and continued his studies in Information Technology at the University of Houston.
James enjoyed a long and successful career in Information Technology. He started his career with Clear Lake Computer before moving on to the energy industry, including tenures at BASF, Mid-Louisiana Gas Pipeline Co., British Borneo Exploration Co., and ultimately ENI Petroleum Co., the US operating company of ENI S.p.A., where he served as the IT Governance and Cybersecurity Advisor.
James was a fun-loving and generous person who loved fast cars, big trucks, and other performance vehicles. As a teenager, he pursued that hobby in different auto clubs and continued as a member of Space City LX Modern Mopar. He was also a cinephile and could often be found every weekend at the theatre to catch the newest movie releases regardless of genre.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Avenue, on Thursday, May 26th.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Liturgy service will be 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
