Jacquelyn “Jackie” Howard, age 83, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Jackie was a very beautiful, selfless, charismatic, caring person and a true leader. She was a past Drum Major at University of Houston, and also the first woman class president at U of H, as well as past president of the Nottingham Forest Club, the Meadowood PTA, Phi Beta Kappa, Garden Club, and the Gourmet Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Mig Howard. Survived by sons, John Howard and wife Eva, Charlie Howard and wife Jane, and Milton Howard and wife Leslie; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Jon Ross Enloe. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m., Monday, November 25, 2013, with the Celebration of Life Funeral Service following at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will then follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
