Jacqueline Ann Davis

Jacqueline Ann Davis 1954 – 2016 graduated to heaven on Sunday, July 31, 2016 where her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ welcomed her into his open arms. After a valiant fight with cancer the Lord took her home. We rejoice in the blessing of having known and loved her during the 62 years God allowed us to be part of her earthly life. Ann was born in Longview, TX on January 27, 1954 to the late Judge Marcus Vascocu and Jacqueline Vascocu. Ann graduated from the University of Texas with a BS in Education in 1976. She taught math for 26 years before retiring. Ann married Ed Davis on June 3, 1978. Ann is survived by her husband Ed Davis, their sons Marc Davis, Scott Davis and his fiancé Nelleke ten Dam and sister Karen Woolf and her husband Gerald Woolf.

Ann and Ed became members of Second Baptist Church in 1979. Ann loved the Lord and lived life to glorify him!

Visitation will be at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A celebration of her life will be held at Second Baptist Church on Woodway Drive Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Deacons Parlor. A graveside service will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery at 2:00 pm for the family and those that wish to attend.
