He Later met Alma in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi and they married on December 30, 1989. Praxedis had worked as a Custom Door Carpenter at The Detering Company for about 7 years. He had a love for wood work and enjoyed working on wood projects, he was also a huge fan of the Houston Astros and he especially loved watching soccer matches with his family.
He is preceded in death by Leoncio Garcia.
He is survived by his sons, Edgardo “El Gallo” and wife Jasmin Gamez, Jorge “Mono” and wife Alondra Gamez, and Rodrigo “Gio”; daughter, Anai; brothers, Wenses Lada, J. Asencion, Raul; sisters, Domitila, Luz Macrina, Maria Guadalupe, Juana Maria, Micaela, Irene; four grandchildren, Leah, Milian, Evelyn, and Zoyi.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday September 6, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited promptly at 7:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo, 501 Tidwell Rd., Houston, TX 77022, followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
