She is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Smith.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Bernina Mayo and husband Jack; two grandchildren: James Mayo and Diana Huebner; five great-grandchildren: Jordyn Mayo, Alex Hernandez, Faith Hernandez, Roman Hernandez and Makenna Hernandez.
Ivie was a cosmetician with Walgreens for 55 years.
The family will receive friends at 9:00am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00am, on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A graveside ceremony will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
