Iris Nancy Patterson

Iris “Nancy” Patterson, age 98 of Houston, Texas passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. She was born February 5, 1924 in Hughes Springs, Texas to parents Hoyle and Claudia Beasley who preceded her in death along with her son, Paul Patterson, granddaughter Ashlyn Shoemaker and four siblings’. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Farr and Susie Payne, sons Charley Patterson and Jimmy Patterson, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, Brother Cyrus Glenn Beasley, special extended family Tommy Minshew, Dave and Kathy Klingensmith.

Her work history consisted of a variety of jobs but after 20 years of service, she retired from the City of Houston.

Nancy was a member of Berean Baptist Church and then Northwest Baptist Church for over forty-five years. We are comforted knowing she is now resting in the arms of Jesus and we will see her again one day.

A visitation for Iris will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
