She was a loving wife to her late husband, William Anthony Wallace. A loving mother and caring friend to many. She is survived by her son, Pete Kanakidis and his wife Marla; daughter, Sophia Kanakidis, and son George Kanakidis; step-sons, Bill Wallace and his wife Pamela and Timothy Wallace; grandchildren, Alexandra, Evan, Jacob, Zachery, Matthew, Anastasia, Dena, Kurt, Mitchell, Heather, and Nicholas. She will be greatly missed.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family beginning at ten o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 19th of December, at St. Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church, 1100 Eldridge Parkway in Houston, where the Trisagion Prayers and Funeral Service are to follow at eleven o’clock.
Immediately following, all are invited to join the family for a Makaria Luncheon at a venue to be announced during the service.
The interment will be conducted at half-past ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 23rd of December, at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial in Houston.
