Inez Opal Hagen Cummings was born on March 26, 1928 in Fosston, Minnesota. Her parents were Gunnar C. Hagen and Betsy Molden Hagen. She was the third of their four children and her family lived on a farm in Clearbrook, MN. After high school she moved to Washington, DC where she met Robert M. Cummings, Jr. They Married on August 22,1946 and moved to Dallas. They had two daughters, Carol and Cathy. The family moved to Houston in the early 50's.
Inez lived a happy life. She and Bob had many friends in their Houston neighborhood and enjoyed giving parties and entertaining with cookouts on their patio. Any day was a good time for a get-together and the family suspects Inez invented a few holiday just so she could have a party!
Inez is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, baby grandson and daughter Carol. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy along with four grandsons, four great granddaughters and one great grandson.
