Ignacio Ortiz

Ignacio Ortiz died peacefully surrounded by his wife, son, and grandkids on December 4th, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife Manuela Ortiz. Lovingly remembered by his son Jesus Ortiz, Daughters Maria Elena Ortiz, Rosa Maria Ortiz and grandkids. Ignacio was born in Leon Guanajuato on July 31st, 1934 to Apolinar Ortiz and Geronima Gonzales Ortiz. He lived his younger years in Leon Guanajuato and then moved to Houston Tx with his wife. Ignacio will be remembered as a hard-working man. He was very involved at his parish, and everyone knew who he was as soon as they heard his name. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ignacio was a man of sports he did not miss one boxing match and soccer game. We will miss you always getting after us and hearing your loud voice and seeing your smile. Most of all we will miss your physical presence and the love you have for all of us. We love you and will forever carry you in our hearts. May you find peace in Heaven. This is not a goodbye but a see you later.

Ignacio Ortiz murió pacíficamente rodeado de su esposa, hijo y nietos el 4 de Diciembre de 2021. Le sobrevive su amada esposa Manuela Ortiz. Recordado con cariño por su hijo Jesús Ortiz, sus hijas Maria Elena Ortiz, Rosa Maria Ortiz y sus nietos. Ignacio nació en León Guanajuato el 31 de Julio de 1934 sus papas Apolinar Ortiz and Geronima Gonzales Ortiz. Vivió su juventud en León Guanajuato y luego se mudó a Houston Texas con su esposa. Ignacio será recordado como un hombre trabajador. Estaba muy involucrado en su parroquia y todos supieron quién era tan pronto como escucharon su nombre. Fue un amoroso esposo, padre y abuelo. Ignacio era un deportista, no se perdía ni un partido de boxeo y de fútbol. Extrañaremos que siempre nos persigas y escuches tu voz fuerte y veas tu sonrisa. Sobre todo, extrañaremos tu presencia física y el amor que tienes por todos nosotros. Te amamos y por siempre te llevaremos en nuestros corazones. Que encuentres la paz en el cielo. Esto no es un adiós sino un hasta luego.

A velorio / visitation for Ignacio will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo - Broadway, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A rosario / rosary will occur Monday, December 13, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A misa de cuerpo presente / funeral mass will occur Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7539 Ave K, Houston, Texas 77012. A sepelio / committal service will occur Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, TX 77023.
