Hugo Antonio Villarreal

1955 - 2020

Hugo Antonio (Tony) Villarreal, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 65. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas and was a graduate of Austin High School. He is survived by his loving wife of over 36 years, Joann Villarreal, his adoring sons, Karl A. Villarreal (wife- Melanie) and Samuel J. Villarreal, his cherished grandchildren, Mia D. Villarreal and Karl A. Villarreal Jr., Adrian and Casandra Mendoza, his loving mother, Kleanthe Villarreal, sisters, Mary Wilhite and Kleanthe Schot, his brother, Aaron Villarreal and numerous loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Villarreal Sr, brothers, Samuel Villarreal Jr, and baby Karl Villarreal.

Tony and Joann were married on August 18 1984. He was a dedicated employee for Anheuser Busch for over 33 years and was looking forward to his retirement. As a husband, father, son and brother, he was considered extraordinary. There was no limit to the love and care he had for his family. Tony was extremely helpful, giving and a generous person to all. The selfless love, care, and attention he gave to his parents and family was admired by many. When he saw a need, he always looked to help in any way. Tony will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends as he joins our family members in heaven.

A private ceremony is scheduled for Monday, December 21, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Forest Park Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, TX.
