Howard was the only child born April 4, 1931 to the late Thelma Cash in Sebring, Florida. Howard graduated Morris High school in New York in 1948. Not long after Howard joined the Air Force and also served in the Reserves. He later received a Draftsman license which allowed him to work his way through the ranks at IBM where he would retire as a Marketing Representative after 25 years of loyal service. After retiring he went on to careers as a stockbroker for Merrill-Lynch, insurance sales and his last job as a car salesman at Fred Haas Toyota.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife, Mary Woodson-Kelly; children; Bruce Michael Kelly of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Kevin Jay Kelly, of Marion, Indiana; Grace Michele Nobles (Tommy) of Pflugerville, Texas; Kara Jena Kelly, of Pflugerville, Texas; E. Jonah Kelly of Houston, Texas; Josh Ballou of Bend, Oregon; Tammy Woodson-Gould (Elliott); of Houston, Texas and Jihad M. Abu-Dharr of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Mother– in-law Doris Woodson of Houston, Texas; sister-in-law and caregiver Beverly Woodson of Houston, Texas and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family and friends. He also leaves to mourn special friends Wilma Lee and Audrey Berry and special thanks to Howard’s in- home nurse Susan and Dr. Dan Lotan of Intercede Health.
