Helen Mae (Stepanski) Duke

Helen (Nana) graduated from Christ the King Catholic School and was married to J.W. Duke for 60 years. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a passion for cooking especially holiday cooking and treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nana was preceded in death by her parents Steve Ike Stepanski and Bessie Mary Szymczak and husband J.W. Nana was also preceded in death by sisters Gertrude and Vernie and brothers Marion, Stash-Thomas, Floyd, Marvin and Martin.

She is survived by her children: Michael Wayne and wife Julie and Darrell Wayne and wife Jeri, Grandchildren: Kevin Ryan - wife Brenna, Samuel Norwood and Haylee Madison, Great Grandchildren: Emmett Graham and Hannah Paige. She is also survived by her brother Philip Stepanski.

A visitation for Helen will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
