Hattie attended and graduated from Desoto High inMansfield, LA. For 35-year Hattie attended Highland Heights Church of Christ and her church became family. She married Lonnie Walker Jr and from that union she bore three children.
Hattie dedicated 28 years of service to Southwestern Bell and retired with excellent service. Then dedicated her remaining years tovolunteering her time and helping others. Her hobbies were reading love stories, interior decorating, and playing bid whist with her partner Lenious Samuel Davis IV.
Hattie leaves children Sonya Walker Roberson, Kedrick Walker,Chandaa Salaam Davis. She leaves grandchildren Khaalida Salaam, Khalif Salaam, Khalid Salaam, Neikedra Walker, Mahogany Walker, Kedrick Walker Jr, Malik Roberson, Asante Roberson, and Chanya Roberson. Hattie also leaves great grand-children Khnia, Tyree, Khalif Jr, Saniya, and Jamir a slew of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friend Hilda Marie.
Hattie has two predeceased brothers Willie B. Moody and John Moody and leaves behind sisters Katie Moody, Bertha Greenlee, and Lula Morris.
Hattie was a blessing to have in your life. She will be dearly missed with her loving smile, her gentleness, and her witty words. She is now gone but will never be forgotten.
