Hans A. Wagner

Hans August Wagner was the only child of Hans and Hertha Wagner, born in Lindau, Germany on June 2, 1947. In 1971 he arrived in Texas to attend The University of Houston. Texas became his home where he began his career as well as his family. He became a naturalized citizen in 2008. Hans spent 40 years in Houston’s Oil and Gas business. He truly loved the work and the relationships he created. Hans had a gift for languages, fluent in five and had a passion for travelling. He is survived by his wife Theresa of 42 years, his four children; Alex and his wife Carin Wagner, Christoph and his wife Paula Wagner, Klaus Wagner and Johanna and her husband Charles Bilberry. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Ella and Max Wagner (parents Alex and Carin) and Guy Bilberry (parents Johanna and Charles).

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 12:30 PM with Chaplain Rick Atkinson officiating.
