Guadalupe Garza went to be with her Lord on May 23, 2017. She was born on July 13, 1934 in Mercedes, Texas to parents Anita and Rogelio Flores. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 58 years, Gilberto Garza; two sisters, Matilda Cesares and Frannie Rios. She is survived by her nine children, Hilda, Gilbert and wife Cynthia, Roy and wife Angie, Nancy and husband Charles, Alma and husband Michael, Andy and wife Sherry, Ismael and wife Julie, Vanessa and husband Eric, Alfredo; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Jeremie, Nicolas, Michelle, Gabriel, Julio, Savannah, Brittany; and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and a funeral service Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
