Mrs. Gonzala Nava Obregon “Gonzalita, Gon”, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Asuncion Obregon. Left to cherish her loving memory are her husband Francisco J. Nava, her 9 surviving children and 2 deceased children: Leticia, Patricia, Irma, Alma, Martin, Rocio, Gerardo, Monica, Moises, late Martha del Rocio; 22 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Mrs. Gonzalita was born in Villa de La Paz, San Luis, Mexico on January 10, 1943. She faced many adversities in her life, one of them being the death of her mother at the age of 2 and the death of her father at the age of 8. She remained under the loving care of her grandmother Mrs. Vicenta Rodriguez, aunt Petrita and Bertha Obregon. When she was 16 years old she met and married her husband Francisco J. Nava, they remained married for 61 years. She was loved dearly by her husband and her in-laws.
Throughout her life, no matter how sad or difficult circumstances might have been, she was able to create beautiful moments of happiness for her children, husband and all the people around her. She had a unique sense of humor that would surprise everyone at times in the way that she was often quiet but then would speak direct and to the point truths in such a gracious way.
Mrs. Gonzalita was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing “loteria” at all the family gatherings. She was very loving and caring to everyone around her. She had the amazing ability of creating special relationships with all people by making them feel special and loved. She was an amazing mother and wife who was loved by everyone who knew her.
Honrando la vida de la Sra. Gonzalita
A la edad de 77 años dejo de existir la Sra. Gonzala Obregón de Nava o como
muchos le llamaban de cariño Gonzalita o Gon, falleció el sábado 22 de
Agosto del 2020. Le honran su memoria su esposo: Francisco J. Nava e hijos. Le
sobreviven 9 hijos y 2 fallecidos: Leticia, Patricia, Irma, Alma, Martin, Rocio,
Gerardo, Monica, Moisés, Martha del Rocio┼; 22 nietos, 10 bisnietos y demás
familiares.
La Sra. Gonzalita nació en Villa de La Paz, San Luis Potosí, México el 10 de
Enero, 1943. Ella enfrento muchas adversidades en su vida, una de ellas fue la
pérdida de su querida madre Asunción Berino a los 2 años de edad y a su padre
Francisco Obregón a los 8 años de edad. Ella estuvo bajo el cuidado de su abuelita
la Sra. Vicenta Rodríguez y sus tías Petrita y Bertha Obregón, que la cuidaron con
mucho amor. Cuando ella tenía 16 años de edad, conoció y se caso con su esposo
Francisco J. Nava, fue un matrimonio que duro 61 años. Ella fue muy amada por
su esposo, sus suegros y toda su familia.
Durante toda su vida y sin importar cual fuere las circunstancias, ella siempre trato
de ser feliz al lado de su esposo e hijos. Tenía un gran sentido del humor a pesar de
que ella era muy tímida, siempre te decía las cosas directamente pero de una
manera muy graciosa.
La Sra. Gonzalita fue una esposa ejemplar y una gran madre, amaba pasar tiempo
con su familia jugando lotería con ellos durante las reuniones familiares. Todos
esos momentos ella los hacía especial y trataba de complacer a todos. Ella fue una
persona muy querida, tanto por su esposo como por sus hijos. Ella ha dejado un
gran legado en la familia, como la gran mujer que fue. Siempre estará en nuestros
corazones, y con orgullo y mucho amor la recordaremos siempre....
