She graduated from Jefferson Davis High School, receiving her diploma. Gloria had a career and retired as a Dispatcher for the City of Houston Police Department, and had a passion for crocheting, sewing, and her family.
Gloria is survived by son Ricky V. Garcia and daughter Victoria Garcia; brother Frank (Ellie) Rendon; granddaughter Christina L. Garcia; great grandchildren Anthony and Addisyn Garcia.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Garcia, her parents, Victor and Ora Rendon, and brother, Tony Rendon.
A visitation for Gloria will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a committal service immediately following at Brookside Memorial Park.
