Glenn was born on November 23, 1945 to Fannie Lee Terry Hickerson and Robert Lytle Hickerson in Sweetwater Texas.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 57 years Elizabeth Ann Holt Hickerson. Son Robert Jr wife Danita daughters. Marsha Hickerson, Gwen Wachel and husband Sam and daughter of the heart Rose Broussard and husband Shannon. Grandchildren Sophie Hickerson and fiancé Matt, Sadie Hickerson and fiancé Tyler and Joseph Broussard. Brother Terry Hickerson and Sister Nancy Ford and husband Bill. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Glenn is preceded in death by parents Fannie and Bob Hickerson, sister Wanda Roberts and brother in law Wayne and sister in law Paula Hickerson.
A lifelong Christian was a 40 year member of St Timothy’s United Methodist Church and a current member of Tomball United Methodist Church.
He was a 43 year member of Fairbanks Masonic Lodge #1363 AF & AM. A member of Fairbanks Order of the Eastern Star # 1041 and Garden Oaks #987, he is a Past Worthy Patron of Fairbanks OES. He was a loving and supportive father figure for the Fairbanks Assembly order of the Rainbow for Girls # 330
Glenn loved his family and always supported them in all their activities including baseball, band, church choir, and Rainbow girls.
Avid outdoorsmen his favorite place in the world was near the water with a fishing pole in his hands. He also loved deer hunting, fondly becoming known as “Uncle Mud Hole” by his nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Glenn will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A graveside service will occur Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
