Gilbert Dixon was born on March 14, 1960 in Houston, Texas to the late Clarence Dixon and Emilie Rubit Dixon Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Brenda Dixon and their children - Chauncey Frank, Lateef Prado, Clinton G. Williams, Ranisha A. Williams, Shawnice Williams, and Xavier J. Williams; their grandchildren, Se Ma'J A. Williams, La'niyah M. Dickerson, Clinton K. Williams, Camilla C. Williams, Marlette R. Noriega, Carly M. Hartfield, Cassius Williams, Cassia Williams, Calee L. Hartfield, Amias K. Williams; his sisters, Silvia Walker (Ronny), Susanna Dixon, and Clara Haywood (Larry); niece, Krystle Cheree Boudreaux; nephews, Joseph Boudreaux, Jeremy Boudreaux, Kristopher Walker, Ronnie Walker, and Paris Swearington; his brother & sister-in-laws - Frank Houston, Linda McConnell, James McConnell (Velma), Ronnie McConnell, Thelma Brown (Mike), Trina Harkness (Darrin) and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Gilbert was known for his hearty laugh, his love for cooking and how he loved his wife, kids and grandchildren. The moment he would speak you knew he had a special personal relationship with the Lord. Gilbert was truly blessed with the gift of having a discernment spirit and was loved by us all and will truly be missed. I, Trina, can say he left me with one thing, he would always say - "sister-in-law always remember to calculate the risk!"
