First Lady, Pastor Geraldine Taylor, was born Geraldine Scott to Mr. Alton and Mrs. Mattie Pearl Scott on June 4, 1944 in Palestine, Texas. She attended Palestine Public Schools and was a high school graduate. Geraldine found love with and was married to Mr. Lewis Taylor, also of Palestine, Texas on December 27, 1967. The marriage flourished for over 44 amazing years. There are four beautiful daughters born to their union: Sheryl Williams, Gwendolyn Taylor-Coscarelli, Carolyn Taylor and Audrey Taylor-Tramble. Geraldine is survived by four siblings: three brothers; Adrian Scott, Clevel Scott, Solomon Scott; one sister, Juanita Taylor. Geraldine and her husband Lewis attended Cornerstone Theological Seminary together and received Baccalaureate Degrees in Theology. The Taylors were called to pastoral ministry in Houston, Texas and are the founders of Christian Life Word of God Church. They impacted countless lives through their years in ministry and are loved and respected throughout the Body of Christ by Believers and ministries all around the world. To date, there are seven wonderful grandchildren: Andria Livingston, Nico Coscarelli, Chelsea Coscarelli, Michael Coscarelli, Jordan Coscarelli, Alexis Taylor and Mikalah Tramble. Though Geraldine will be greatly missed, please know that her memory, her life of Christian service and her example as a Godly mother and wife will be honored and respected by her family and friends forever.
