It is with great sadness I announce the passing of my beloved wife, Georgann Comsia-Barrilleaux. After years of struggling with pain and complications associated with a previous disease, Georgann was finally able to peacefully walk into the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ in the early morning hours, Saturday, February 17, 2024.
Georgann was formerly from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where she was born on April 01, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, John S. Comsia and Goalyn L.Ramsey Comsia. She is survived by her loving husband, Stanley J. Barrilleaux, her brother, John S. Comsia and family. Father-in-Law Stanley F. Barrilleaux, Sister-In-Law Teri Gregory, husband Charles Gregory of Simonton, Tx. Sister-In-Law Tracy Mcdonald, husband Kevin Mcdonald of Sugar Land, Tx., numerous nieces and a nephew who will miss her greatly.
Georgann moved to Houston with her father and brother. She spent her early career working in the banking industry where she met her future Mother-In-law, Johnnie Barrilleaux. In the course of their friendship she met the rest of the Barrilleaux family, including her future husband, Joe. Georgann obtained her degree in literature from the University of Houston. After their meeting and marriage in August of 1998 Georgann decided to join her husband and became a JM electrician. She worked with Joe for years before her health dictated retirement.
Georgann never met a stranger and had the kindest, gentlest spirit. She never failed to extend a hand to anyone in need or go out of her way to help. She loved reading and taking care of her babies (Nina and many other birds) over the years. She is greatly loved by her husband and family. We praise God for the hope he provides to believers.
1 Thessalonians 4:13–14🙏
There will not be a physical service but Joe would appreciate the sharing of messages, thoughts and prayers on the website.
