Gary Lawrence Adler

Gary Lawrence Adler; born in Brooklyn, New York on September 27, 1946 to Adele Adler (nee Price) and Daniel Adler; preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Roslyn Siegel and his loving wife, Alice Adler (nee Hernandez). Gary was a devoted father to Scott (Jennifer) Adler, Shannon Adler, and Joseph Adler. He was a loving father figure to Heather Carroll and Michele Adler. A proud grandfather to Madison (Keegan) Schaack, Jordan (Mayra) Zermeno, Nicolas Adler, Sierra Adler, Xavier Lopez, Gabriella Lopez, Leila Adler, Caleb Adler, Aiden Adler, Levi ‘Jett’ Adler, Joseph ‘Cruz’ Adler, Mason Adler, Ethan Adler and Allie Rose Adler. Gary retired from the Houston Police Department in 2006 after 30 years of public service. His retirement was spent watching his grandkids participate in sports, taking his wife on trips to the casinos in Louisiana and to visit family in Georgia, Florida and New York. Gary will be missed by countless family members and friends.

A memorial service for Gary will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008.
