Freddie S Garcia

Freddie served in the Naval Reserve and married Stella Montalvo on July 4th,1953 in Houston, Texas.

He had a long and gratifying career in the building industry, with The Austin Company, transferring to Chicago, Seattle, Dallas and Brazil over his 40 year career, where he was the project purchasing agent and later consultant. Freddie later retired from The Austin Company in 1993 and moved to Lake Livingston with his love Stella and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Freddie is survived by his son Miachel D. Garcia (Charlotte); son Russell B. Garcia and daughter, Sherry D. Reeves (Tony); grandchildren; Michael R. Garcia (Jill), Michael F. Garcia, Michael B. Garcia, Alexandria L. O'Sullivan (Ryan), Benjamin Dworkin and Trey G. Reeves; great grandchildren Jack F. O'Sullivan, Evelyn Kent and upcoming arrival Stella R. Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 2pm - 7pm with a memorial service at 5pm at Brookside Dignity Memorial; 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston TX 77039, 281-449-6511. Burial will be held Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10:30am at Brookside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SPCA or CAP, www.cap4pets.org, in memory for his love of animals.
