Esther was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Carlson Jr; parents, Guy and Mary Ellis; and sister Helen.
She is survived by her husband, James Carlson; daughter Mary Carlson; sons Robert "Bobby" Carlson, Paul Carlson, and Joseph "Joey" Carlson; and her grandchildren Max, Sam, Trey, Seth, Adele, Aaron, Courtney, Joseph, Michael, and Christina; as well as one sister, Mae Henderson and one brother Thomas Ellis.
