George is remembered as a hard worker; steady, constant, and strong. He has been a member of Pipe-fitters Local 211 for 74 years, proudly serving the HVAC industry as a leader, mentor and friend. In 1958 he was a significant contributor in creating Ideal Engineering and trained many of todays service industry leaders up until his retirement. That is when his loving wife, Donna, caught him red handed on the cover of Houston’s newspaper, jumping from an overturned race car. He loved his sport, working day and night as driver, owner, and mechanic for four decades. He has many life long friends from both profession and sport.
George was a member of St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church.
