Erlinda “Linda” Ramos died peacefully on December 4, 2019 in Tomball, Texas at the age of 62. Erlinda was born on November 16, 1957 in Houston, Texas, to Mary Antonia Cuevas and Genaro Ramos.
Erlinda was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Genaro. She is survived by her siblings, John and Elia Castillo, Dolores and Ricardo Romero, Mark and Fabiola Guzman; her nephews and nieces, John Robert, Jennifer Lyn, Joanna Marie, Ricardo Jr., Cipriana Fabiola, and Mark Anthony II. She is also survived by five great-nieces and nephews.
As a role model, she showed her nieces what a strong independent woman looked like. At the age of 16, Erlinda started her journey in the workforce. Once she graduated from Stephen F Austin High School in Houston, she began advancing her career through hard work and determination. She was truly loved by all those fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.
Erlinda's favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends. There was nothing Erlinda loved more than being a “Tia”. She spent her weekends taking her nieces and nephews on adventures; she’s swam the Great Barrier Reef and braved hurricanes. She had a passion for creativity in sculpting, painting, macramé, and baking to name a few of her talents. Erlinda was a generous and considerate woman who always put others needs ahead of her own.
The funeral is scheduled for December 16, 2019 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Erlinda’s life.
