Emma moved to Houston when she was a very small child. She grew up in the East End District and attended Stephen F. Austin High School where she graduated in 1945.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maude Emma White Wallace and Clarence Wallace, husband, James T. Herndon, children; John Urban, Cheryl Wedgeworth and son-in-law, Fred Meinert.
She is survived by her children; Kenneth R. Urban, Linda Henson, Donna Williams and husband, Michael Williams; grandchildren; Kenneth Henson, Sean Henson and wife, Tammy, John Urban, James Jones and wife, Sherrie, Stephanie Doyal and husband, David, Danielle Manry and husband, Kody, Morgan Williams and Autumn Williams; and nine great-grandchildren.
A Visitation for Emma will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Committal service will occur Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
