My Dearest Cousin,
Your Passing has put a hole in my Heart that I never thought could be possible since the death of DeMorris. Very little has shaken me since then, until now.

When I learned that you were no longer here with us, I could not believe what my ears were being told. But God in His Righteous Wisdom knows what is best for us all. There's a Time and a Season for everything: A Time to be Born and a Time to Die. A Time to Laugh and a Time to Weep. A Time to Dance and a Time to Mourn. This is our Season of Death, to Weep, and to Mourn.

Remembering back on all the Memories I have stored in my mind and heart, there's not one that I can remember of my calling on you, and you not being there for me. You were Always there for me. I remember whenever I would find myself in trouble with Moma (Elma Grant), I would call on you, and you would always smooth the roughness out. You had a very Special and Unique Personality and 'way' about you, compared to none other I knew then and none I've known since.

I remember conversations you and I had in confidence, things we probably didn't share with anyone else, we were years apart but we were closer than any two Sisters could be. During my Pregnancies, no matter what the cravings would be, you Always made sure I got what I'd longed for, especially all the watermelons even when they were out of season and very hard to find. You did it, and so much more.

So many Memories and I will hold on to them Forever. You will be Very Much missed and you will Always have a place in my Heart.

My Dearest Cousin, Rest in Eternal Peace and we shall see one another again. Until that day, you will Always be in my Heart.

That was Ms Emma and those were her ways;
                    She said what she meant and meant what she says!
She had a lifetime of knowledge, talent and experience,
                    Zero to none could be considered coincidence!
Her humor was so infectious, you couldn’t help but laugh;
                    Though I never met them, just ask Park Manor’s staff!
During times I should have been checking on her,
                     She was calling us to see how we were!
Though I’ll miss Ms Emma so very much,
                     In my heart of hearts, we’ll stay in touch!

Rest well Big Sis! You will be missed so much, Always there by my side for me even when I thought I didn't need anyone. May God's Angels welcome you and comfort you forever more.

Ms. Emma was such a delight to be around. I have had the pleasure of working at Park Manor of Humble where Ms. Haynes resided and working with her and her sister Betty was a true blessing. They are both incredible woman and such a joy to get to know and help along the way. My condolences to the family and you will be in my prayers.
