Emily Kubick Moore

Emily was born in Brenham, Tx, on October 27,1934, and grew up in Houston, Tx, graduating from St. Agnes Academy. She married Charles Thomas Moore on November 17, 1954. After a honeymoon trip to California, they settled in Houston where she worked at a hospital in the records department until the birth of her 3 children, where she got the most important job, a stay-at-home mom. After she successfully raised her children, she decided to get back into the working world but before doing so, she went to the local community college and took a typing class. She joined Gerald Hines Interests in the fall of 1984 where she worked until she retired in March 2019. During this time, she also worked part-time at a bingo hall and at Foleys. When she was not working, she enjoyed being outside working in the yard and with all her plants but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bruno H. and Rosalie D. Kubick, brother Eugene B. Kubick, and her husband Charles T. Moore Sr. She is survived by her children, Charles & Denise, Roxanne & Mike, Michelle & Dennis along with her grandchildren Brittany & Allen, Danielle & Ronnie, Emily & Nick, Michael, and Rana and her great grandchildren Tyler and Cody.

A visitation for Emily will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018. A rosary service will occur Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX. A funeral mass will occur Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman St, Houston, TX 77018. A committal service will occur Friday, June 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055.
