Prayers for your family and friends Eliza , I knew you on AOC as Blu we became great friends sharing stories of our families. And the battle you had with this terrible disease always praying for you telling you to stay strong I knew you were a kind sole and a beautiful person . We had some great conversations about life I miss you and I’ll always remember you God bless 💙    Bubba 

The first time I met Liza was when Aly  began school at Weikel Elementary in my second grade class. Liza was a person who you could always count on. She welcomed me in her family as one of her own. I am grateful to have known her and the generosity she always showed. Something funny about her is she would bring in wine when I was at school without students. I told her, “You can’t do that. She said, “Who is going to stop me.” I will miss you Liza and your infectious laugh and sense of humor. 

This was a good time at Jemel’s graduation in Houston. 

I met Eliza in 2001. I was a 19 with a new baby and was living hours away from my family due to the military.  It was the first time i had been away from my family. She and I met and became close.  The picture above is from a Renaissance festival that we went to together.  She was like family to me, like a big sister. She always made me laugh, her personality was amazing. She loved to cook for me, and teach me.  She was exactly what I needed at that time in my life.  Over the years we lost touch but I thought about her often. We had recently reconnected and I’m so happy we had that chance. I will never forget her ever. She was one of my best friends, I wish we could have had more time. She talked about coming to visit me. I remember when I told her where I lived she looked up how far it was and told me “ oh that’s not far I can make that trip when I get better” I was looking forward to seeing her. We got to talk on the phone and I told her I loved her and that I will always love her. She will be so missed she will forever be my best friend 

Eliza a wonderful friend and neighbor.  She loved sharing food and she took care of everyone around her.  Our daughters were inseparable and her door was always open .  There was always a seat at her table or on her couch. And when we were sick she’d bring us special ginger tea and chicken and rice.  She loved well.  She taught us all to love better.  

The day we moved away from Colorado. Eliza and I were both in tears and our Avie & Ali were being goofy.

Eliza was a very special person - a fiercely devoted mother to her children and loyal friend and wife.
She had a knack for making strangers feel like family and always took care of others by trying to make them laugh or cook a delicious meal.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and I share my deepest sympathies to her loved ones. 

I loved talking to Eliza,  she was a beautiful person inside and out. We played AoC together for years and the game won’t be the same without her. I am so glad God put her into my life and so sad she left us so soon. 

Eliza was known to me as Blu in a game we played together. Her personality shared in conversations with fellow gamers made her so very special.  She was a chatter who enjoyed talking to everyone all over the world. Her presence is missed and we are sadden at our loss of such a wonderful person.  We keep her in our memories by using a 💙 in our game names.
