Edison Ray Johnson

Edison Ray Johnson was born to James & Dorothy Faye Johnson on April 18, 1956 in Waco, Texas. He attended Waco Independent School District and graduated from A.J. Moore High School in 1970. Upon graduation, he relocated to Houston, Texas to continue his education at the University of Houston.Edison confessed Christ as his Lord & Savior at an early age. Once relocating to Houston, he joined 4th Missionary Baptist Church. He later established membership at Abundant Life Cathedral, where he remained faithful until his demise.He was preceded in death by his father, the late Rev. James Johnson & step-father Lucius Williams Jr. Left to cherish his memory: Dorothy Williams (mother), Celise (daughter), 2 granddaughters; Ashley & Brianna, 1 grandson; Edison, 4 brothers; Kenneth (Shirley) Boston, Dwayne (Sheila) Johnson, Larry (Billie) Johnson, John (Carolyn) Jackson, 4 sisters; Melinda Williams, Rose Carrigan, Rhonda Johnson-Taylor & Patricia (Arbin) Harrison, a devoted nephew; Kenneth (Jenee) Boston, 3 loving and devoted nieces; Kendra & LaTrena Boston, Vene' Baggett, stepmom; Vennie Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews cousins & friends.
