i miss you so much, i would do anything to celebrate at least 1 more birthday with you. why’d you leave so early. i wish we could’ve had more time together, i wish you could’ve seen me grow up. i am so grateful to have you as my father. today is my birthday. i remember my cupcake birthday party for me when i was 1! i also do remember you had went to one of my ballet recitals too ! i have so many more memories, but i will forever love you and miss you. i’ll see you one day. I love you papi. 

I had a dream last night that you called me just to catch up (our normal daily  convos & gossip). I remember vividly...your voice as if you were still somehow here. I kept ranting as if I had sooo much to tell you. You laughed and called me crazy as usual. The dream was cut short but you somehow let me know you're okay. My husband and I reminisced on the many memories we've shared. He misses you dearly and as usual he's upset at you (as only you could make him). He misses the bets you 2 so mastermindedly would make. We miss you E. I now share some of our stories with Leslie. I hope that it brings some joy to her as it brought to us. Wherever you may be, I hope you're resting and without a worry as I know this world brings.

Hoy iré a despedir a una amiga que partió muy joven tenía exactamente nuestra edad, me pregunto si vale la pena invertir o perder tiempo con cosas materiales en lugar de solo disfrutar al máximo nuestros seres queridos ya no se que pensar cacheton. I am stronger today than I was a few weeks ago. Perhaps I am even wiser than I ever was. After being in the dark for so long, the light has been painful. My eyes are slowly adjusting, and now I see things from a different perspective. I know you would hate to see me suffer. I took a step towards achieving a goal that you always encouraged me to pursue. I can imagine you with your big smile saying how proud you are. Love you always.

Otro mes mas cacheton  como pasa el tiempo ya casi es  Navidad. Sabes has dejado mucho amor en esta tierra mucha tristeza por tu partida, todos tratamos de entender sin éxito alguno...   Descansa en Paz mi niño lindo .

Mi niño bello ya ha pasado 2 meces y para mi es una eternidad :-( donde sea que estés te mando un fuerte abraso a qui nada es igual sin ti, estoy confundida siento mucho dolor mezclado con frustración por no poder verte o escucharte no se que pensar o sentir espero Dios nos ayude a todos a entender el por que no estas. te pienso siempre fuiste un ser que supo ganarse un lugar en mi alma y corazón por esa forma tan natural y genuina de ser. Extraño tus conversaciónes extraño tus regaños y sobre todo tu voz cuando cantabas lol.. Son tantas las cosas es tanto el dolor. mandamos mucha fuerzas para todos por que si la necesitamos. Te amamos mucho mi cacheton que el Señor te bendiga y nos de alivio y resignación el 9-23-12 es una fecha que recordare toda mi vida es el día en que todo cambio, i see you soon mi niño te amamos con todo las fuerzas que tenemos.

The holiday season has begun and it just serves as an extra reminder that nothing will ever be the same again. Last year, we suffered an incredible loss and I never could have imagined that this year would be even more tragic. It's difficult to see people go on with their lives, falling back into their normal routines when what I want most is to run and find our old life with you here and simply step back into it. There are days that just seem so pointless to me. I force myself to snap out of it and get up and push forward. Now that you are in God's presence, I am confident He has shown you all the answers you sought in life. I love and miss you, my stupidface. I wish all of this was a nightmare I could wake up from.

In a perfect world, you would still be alive. I often find myself feeling guilty enjoying things... I feel like you have a better purpose in this world than me. I know you would and have affected people's life for the better in your short life than me in however long my life will be.  If I had it my way, I would trade places with you with out a doubt.  You didn't judge anyone, you accepted us as we were, faults and all. You made the little people, including myself, feel like a million bucks when we were in your presence.  I thank you for all that you have done for everyone that I love. I'll cherish our memories and I will forever have you in my thoughts. I will continue to visit you and I will try to open my heart the way you had yours, wide open, for everyone and anyone that needs help or just a shoulder to lean on.  You are an Extraordinary man and NOONE can argue that!

Is crazy to think about Edgar and know he is gone. Sometimes it even feels unbelievable. Our hearts and love for him would give anything for him to be with us. Reality is that God has the ultimate power over a man's life. No matter how powerful and rich a person think he or she is, no one has power over death.  The day we depart from this world we are not taking a single thing with us. The cars, the houses, the money, the family, wife or husband and kids, all stay behind. We are born by ourselves and die by ourselves.  No one belongs to anybody, but we all we belong to God, the one who gives life and takes away.  We should count our blessings and not our trials, everything happens for a reason and God is never wrong in what he does.  May Edgar rest in peace and God have mercy on his soul. We are all sinners and  make mistakes. Memories are the only thing that stays behind the day we are gone, may our memories bring happiness and not hurt to our families and love ones.  May the next time we get mad, may we remember that we are only here for a short time and no one knows the day God will call us home. 

May God give strength, comfort and love to all of Edgar's family and love ones. May God help every single one of us in our journey in life, may he open the doors that need to be open and help us carry on.

Our brother from another mother. Oh, how we miss you. I miss our talks, our dreams, the accomplishments we had yet to fulfill...but most of all our friendship. Like you, I don't think we'll find another. You and my husband were just some kids with HUGE dreams & you two conquered! There are so many things that were left unsaid & questions that will never be answered. You never left my husbands side or mine throughout our trials & it is my pleasure to return the favor.  We will always be here for Leslie & the kids. You will continue to live on through the many, many memories we shared. Somedays I catch myself hoping you'll call just to catch up. Bueno espero que hagas acto de presencia otra vez en mis sueños fue tan lindo verte y escucharte. He estado pensando y recordando cada momento vivido con el temor de que se me escape un tantito de ti pero enverdad tengo que atmitir que eso sera imposible por que a un recuerdo la primera ves que te vi fue justo el dia de mi B-day y desdes entonces pasaste a formar parte de mi.  estuvistes al pendiente de mi siempre .  Hasta cuando perdi a mi hermano fuistes quien me ayudo siempre estuviste para mi y  hamas olvidare tanto amor  de tu parte.  Eres especial y siempre lo supe , extraño tu voz extraño tu sonrisa y sobre todo esos cachetes.  Una ves te pedi que te quidaras  y tu simplemente me dijistes que yo devia estar tranquila que moriria cuidando a mis nietos y con lagrimas en los ojos nos dimos un abraso, curiosamente estabas mas preparado que todos nosotros para tu partida.  Ahora que estas en un mejor lugar te pido que nos quides a todos que le mandes mucha fortaleza a tus padres y hermanos y sobre todo gia a leslie para que tenga la fuerza necesaria para crecer a tus ijos con bien. Oh brother of mine , how I miss you. Everything's not the same. I really really miss you & I want you to come through the door and like always yell "where the ugly sister of mine" haha. Wow I can't believe it's been a month. I just don't want to believe it. You were a hero, you were my hero. Nothing and nobody can replace you. Everyday I think of you and our dumb memories. It's been a month since the family got the bad news that you were gone. Everybody lost a big piece of the family. You had such a big heart and I loved that about you. I really hate the fact that you're not going to be there at my fifteen to watch me walk in the room looking like a model in my dress. But we all know that you will be there in spirit. I miss you so much Big Monkey, always picking on us and making jokes. I can still remember the last joke you told us and when I think about it, I just laugh. Well you be our guardian angel with grampa as your sidekick and watch over us. I love you tio.

In this difficult part of life, I know many people have been blessed by having the opportunity to have met a great man like E.  The day he was taken away, he left many with empty hearts.  The only thing we can do is trust in God and believe everything happens as he has planned  to happen.  A lost like this causes so much pain but it reminds us that Earth is not our home. We are send to the world to full-fill our purposes.  Someone so special like E will always live in our hearts and we will be able to see him in his children.  It's hard to thank God in moments like these, in which our minds can't understand why things happen. I thank God for allowing us to cross paths and even though is hard to continue life without him,I know he would want the best for everyone. "Be a leader, don't be a follower! & "Only the strong survive in this world" he would always say that and thats what we must do in order to continue our journey in this world.

I keep asking myself every single day, Why? Why were u taken away so soon. There is not 1day that does not go by that I shed tears for you. All I'm left with are beautiful memories that will never be taken away, Our smiles & laughters are the most precious things I hold on to. I found myself outside gazing at the stars, wondering what you're doing up there. I'm sure it's beautiful. You deserve all the love and peace that only God can give. I wish I could call you though, and just hear your voice and ask you to come back if only for a moment. A visit between two worlds. I miss you and need you. One month, and even though my days are long and seem never-ending, it feels as if you were just with me. "Te quiero cinco".

Every second of every day is filled with thoughts of you. When you left, you took a part of me with you. I wish I could turn back time, but I can't. I love you Edgar. We will be together again, and until that day comes, I will do my best to live a life that will make you proud and happy to see. I know you are still by my side, and when the kids smile and laugh in their sleep, I know it's because you are with them. That Saturday, we talked about our plans for the future. You were so happy and anxious about everything you had planned for us..especially the Disney trip (we would be over there right now). In my heart I believe you heard everything I told you as I held you for those last few seconds. You were surrounded by love.  As I'm sure you know, I've been dealing with many, many painful emotions, but one thing I'm holding onto is my faith in our love and in your goodness. We were together for 13 years. Together, we grew into adults, faced challenges, and celebrated our triumphs. We shared our dreams, goals, fears, and sadness. There was nothing we couldn't get through together, and I know you realized that. I am aware that you left certain things unsaid. None of that matters now. In the grand scheme of things, the only thing that truly matters is what I know for sure. You would tell me "babe, I'm afraid you're going to leave me one day". I would laugh and hug and kiss you, and promise you I wouldn't. I kept my end of the deal. It's your turn. Don't leave our side. Continue to watch over us. I still feel you sometimes and I don't want that to change. I miss you so much...there just aren't any words to describe it. I love you. Looking forward to the day I'll see you again.

E had a huge impact on my life. I will never forget him. He had the biggest heart, and was always there to help. I have nothing but good memories and lots of laughs with him. He will forever be remembered. God bless him and his family.
