Earnestine Callier Brown departed this life for her heavenly home on December 8, 2024. Born on April 7, 1938, in Jackson, AL, to the late Johnnie Mae Meadows and George White Sr., she lived a life marked by
resilience, unwavering faith, and an enduring love for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmo Brown; her children, Earnest Callier, Freddie Callier, Marshall Callier Jr., and Patricia Ann Tucker; her grandchildren, Joshua Tucker and Earnest Callier Jr.; and her great-grandson, Elijah Callier.
A longtime resident of Houston, TX, Earnestine was a pillar of strength and grace in her community. As a devoted member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, she found her greatest joy in serving others and living her faith daily. Her strength of spirit and steadfast devotion to those she loved left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Earnestine’s love and legacy continue through her grandchildren Corey Callier and his wife Seemee, James Tucker III, and Alexandra Callier; her great-grandchildren Courtney Callier, Cordell Callier, Mariah Callier, Jakeccia Tatum, David Bryant, Dana Callier, Jana Wilkerson, Alexander Wilkerson, LaShavette Perry, Tatianya Callier, Kimesha Callier, Logan Callier, Emmanuel Callier, Earnest
Callier III, Quazdra Franklin and Jazzlyn Tucker; and her five greatgreat-grandchildren. She also leaves behind cherished nieces and nephews Yolanda Tripp, Ben Tripp, Timothy Tripp, Glarin Bernard, Shirley Bernard (Ronnie) Starling, Ida Bernard, James (Johnnie) Bernard, Clausell Bernard Jr., and Lezzetta White; caregivers Sally Retzloff, Kesha Tatum and Yolanda Punch; feline companion Baby Kitty, and a host of other relatives family and friends.
Earnestine’s enduring faith, remarkable strength, and boundless love for her family and friends will forever inspire those who were blessed to know her.
A visitation for Earnestine will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home Chapel located at 10401 W. Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088. The funeral service will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The committal will be held immediately following services at Paradise North Cemetery 10401 W. Montgomery Rd. Houston, Texas 77088.
