Everard Victor Newman, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2013 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Dorothy, son Richard, daughter Christine and her husband Allan Sullivan, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, brothers Hugh, Herbert and Colin and sister Cecile Turnbull.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 14, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the stateroom of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. Burial to follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
