Doris M Lentz

Doris married Alex Lentz on February 22, 1951 in Greenvine, Texas and they moved to Houston soon thereafter to start their family. Doris and Alex became members of Zion Lutheran Church in 1953 and were active in the church throughout their lives.

Doris is preceded in death by both parents and her husband Alex. She is survived by her sons: Douglas and wife Roilyn, Marcus and wife Denise, and Darrell and wife Pamela; grandchildren: Brittany Raiford and husband Bradley, Kaitlyn Beck and husband John, Kyle Lentz and wife Melissa, Derek Lentz, Jeremy Lentz, David Lentz and wife Blair, and Hannah Lentz; great – grandchildren: Beckett Raiford, Sebastian Raiford, Rowan Raiford, John W. Beck IV (Liam), and Paige Lentz; sister: Florence Raeke; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation for Doris will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church at 3606 Beauchamp St., Houston, Texas 77009. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Committal service will take place at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Ave., Houston, Texas 77023.
