Donna Kay Kleszcz

Donna Kay Kleszcz, 72, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born in Detroit, MI, July 15, 1944. Donna lived in Houston, Texas over 36 years and was an artist and an adjunct professor in Art and Humanities at the Houston Community College and Lone Star Community College. She held a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wayne State University in Detroit and a Masters of Fine Arts from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. She received a Fulbright Fellowship in Painting and was a finalist in the Artists in Schools Program. Donna was a member of the Texas Fine Arts Association, the Arts Council of Houston, the Art League of Houston and the American Federation of Artists. Her work was her private and Corporate collections in Houston, Dallas and Austin, as well as Washington State, New Jersey and California She is survived by her sisters, Harriet Martindale (Roger) and Kathleen Friedman, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Saturday, July 23, 2016, 10am at the Heights Funeral Home. The service will follow at 11am. Interment Hollywood Cemetery.
