She was born September, 1, 1939 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Albert N. and Elisabeth Glasgow. She was raised in Wagoner, Oklahoma and graduated salutatorian at Wagoner High School. Donna married Charles W. Johnson in 1958 and moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and raised their son, Wes. She moved to Texas in 1998 and stayed.
Donna retired after successful careers in printing and the oil and gas industries. She was an accomplished pianist and vocalist. She was active in churches across Oklahoma and Texas for decades. She sang, played the piano and organ, taught all ages, and worked on selected committees. She was a member and loved the Gateway Baptist Church family. At Gateway Baptist, she was the Senior Adult Club Day Coordinator and Senior Adult Field Trip Coordinator. She also served as Senior Adult Music Director and Senior Adult Retreat Coordinator for the Tryon Evergreen Baptist Association.
Donna is survived by her son, Wes Johnson, daughter-in-law, Cathy Johnson, and her pride and smile belongs to grandchildren Parker and Peyton Johnson. Sue Lee, sister, John Glasgow, brother, Phil Glasgow, brother, and their families. Nephews in Oklahoma, California, and Florida, and their families.
