Dong Moon Woo

Mr. Woo was born August 5, 1945 (June 27th Lunar) in South Korea to Woo, Jae-Ha and Park, Bong-Geum and was the seventh child of nine siblings with four older brothers, two older sisters and two younger sisters. He immigrated to the US in 1979 and has lived in the Houston area for the past 45 years enjoying spending time with his family and friends and was described as a great friend to all.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Sun-Cha Woo; son, Kyle Woo and wife Lucy of Texas; daughters, Jennie Jeong and husband Justin of California, Angie Woo of California; grandsons, Kenneth and Andrew; granddaughters, Jaden, Jordan and Jana.

Dong was a Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed his retirement spending time with his grandkids, fishing and gardening.

The Woo family would like to give a special thanks to the Fairmont Hospice and Windsor Healthcare Center staff who took great care of him in his final days of life.

A visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday March 29, 2024 in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday March 30, 2024 in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at the same location. 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.

After the service, the Woo family would like to invite all attendees to join them at Korea House Restaurant at 10078 Long Point Rd, Houston, TX 77055 for the reception service.
