Donald John Malveaux was born August 22, 1944. He was one of a set of twins (his twin later died) born to the late Ethel Malveaux and Leroy Malveaux in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was baptized at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lafayette. He later moved to Houston, Texas when his mother died in December 1956, where he was raised by his brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Imelda Malveaux. He attended Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School. His family meant a lot to him. He remembered everybody's birthday in the family. He would never forget to call on the phone each year to wish "Happy Birthday" to all of us. If you wanted to know a family member's birthday, just ask Donald. Donald departed this life on October 18, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel & Leroy Malveaux, his twin brother, Ronald Malveaux, his brothers, Harold Malveaux, Sr., Oren Malveaux, Sr., Thomas Malveaux and his sister, Mary Alice Malveaux. Donald leaves to mourn, his sister, Sylvia Malveaux Brown, his sister-in-law, Imelda Malveaux, his best friends Bobby Belt and Darryl Bonner and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
